We grasp and transform the world through interplays of quantification and qualification. Although these modes of analysis and expression are often placed in contrast, for example as the mathematical and verbal arts, human inventions manifest a weave of alphanumerics. Geometries of Rhetoric (Vol. 12, No. 3 of the Nexus Network Journal) includes ten articles by authors from five continents considering architectural examples of past, present and potential geometries of rhetoric. The contributors: Sambit Datta, Matt Demers, Angela Grauerholz, Brian Holland, Donald Kunze, Shannon Mattern, Jack M. Rees, Dan Rose, Sherine Mohy El Dine Wahba, and Dorian Wiszniewski.
